Re: In the Vanishing Forest...

Post by Washington on 18th June 2014, 4:07 pm

The zangoose avoided reggie's stomp attack, and sprinted toward the purugly. He threw his whole body at her, knocking her away from the absol. She landed several yards away, and collapsed on the ground.

At this point, the absol and zangoose had both taken considerable damage.

The absol shouted to the zangoose, "We don't have time for this nonsense, Filch. Forget these imbeciles."

With that, the absol began to flee.

The zangoose looked threateningly at the tropius, and then followed suit.

Reggie walked over to the Purugly. "Are you okay?" he asked.

The purugly struggled to raise her head.

She was breathing heavily. "Do I look okay?" she asked sarcastically.

She had some noticable cuts and scratches, but she didn't look that bad. "You look great!" Reggie told her, trying to be nice.

The purugly grunted in annoyance at Reggier's comment. She struggled to stand.

"Those bastards got away," she said.

Reggie chuckled a little to himself, finding it funny she got upset so easy. " So you said they were assassins? What would you want with them?" Reggie asked.

The purugly's expression changed from rage to sorrow.

"I don't know," she said, "At least, not exactly. I think my parents got involved with some bad types, and upset the wrong pokemon. What they did... was supposed to be some kind of message, I figure."

She looked away from Reggie.

"They were young, you know. They were still glameow."

Reggie really felt sorry for the pokemon. "I'm sorry, is there anything that I can do to help?"

"No, you can't. But I owe you thanks. If it weren't for you, I don't think that fight would have gone so well. I know what I need to do now, though. I need to gather up the best pokemon I can get, and ambush those bastards."

Reggie stands up tall proudly (Which is pretty tall, seeing as how he's a tropius). "I like to think I'm a pretty good pokemon! I'd be a great help!"

The purugly replied, "I don't know yet. Shut up - just give me time to think. We got to get a bunch of Pokemon, and show these assassins who Gandala belongs to."

Reggie is a little embarrassed of how eager he is. He lets the Purugly speak.

The purugly wondered for a while, staring off into different directions. Finally, she came to an idea. She stomped on the ground, "I know some types out west who can do something about them. Way out in the mountains. With your wings, you could take us there pretty easily. What do you say?"

(Reggie thinks to himself "She looks a little heavy...")
"Sure..." Reggie says, trying not to make himself look doubtful. Reggie lowers himself to let her climb on his back.
