Marked Territory

Post by Washington on 18th September 2014, 1:05 am

Reggie and the purugly sailed through the air over mountain peaks. The cat pokemon appeared uneasy, as she grasped on desperately to the tropius. Reggie was visibly tired from flight, and went in for a landing on the cliff's edge.

The purugly, still shaking, shouted, "H-hey! Don't stop n-now!"

Reggie was gasping, but trying to hide it by talking so he sounded very breathy. "I'm sorry it's just the altitude, makes it hard to fly." ("It's not the altitude." Reggie thought to himself.")

The purugly hopped off from Reggie's back. She peered over the edge of the cliff, and shuddered.

"Well... we're definitely nearby," she said.

"What exactly are we looking for?" Reggie asked, recovering from the flight.

"Flying-types. Mostly fearow. There's a gang of birds in this area - they make their home among the cliffs. They love the height. My father did them a favor, years back, and I reckon they owe my family a little something in return."
